About Susan F. Lang, RN, MS, LCCE, C.N.M, APN
Susan Lang, RN, CNM, APN received her ADN from Illinois Central College, her BS in Health Arts at the University of Joliet, Illinois. She received her Masters of Science at the University of Illinois at Chicago in Peoria, where she specialized in midwifery. Sue was also an OB nurse at OSF St. Francis Hospital for 28 years working as a charge nurse and a labor and delivery staff nurse.
Sue has taught childbirth classes at BroMenn Hospital, Proctor Community, and OSF hospital. She was also the coordinator of the maternal flight team for over 5 years, and was on the Washington Rescue Squad for 11 years working as an EMT. As of a member of Lamaze International and the American College of Nurse Midwives, Sue has been certified as a childbirth educator. She has been trained and certified in CPR and Neonatal Resuscitation.
Sue is married and has four children and four grandchildren.
